Brighton & Hove City Council’s Energy Performance Grant Scheme offers eligible landlords up to £7,500 towards energy efficiency improvements. In return, landlords bring the property up to at least EPC C and lease it to the council as temporary accommodation for three years.

Carpet & Floor Cleaning

Hot water extraction cleaning for carpets and specialist cleaning for hard floors. This removes ground-in dirt, stains and odours from long-empty or previously tenanted properties.

Hygiene Treatment & Documented Handover

Sanitisation of high-contact surfaces, kitchens and bathrooms, followed by a dated photographic condition report for every room. You get a clear record of the property’s condition at handover, ready to share with the council or your letting agent.
